Does the Neutrogena Blackhead Eraser work?

School is almost here, and yet I still have my acne and blackheads. I used Clean and Clear Morning Burst and Clean and Clear Adv. Acne Cleanser. None in which seemed to work. In fact, it gave me more pimples and acne! It also irritated my skin. It would basically hurt when I smiled. And I'm sure I followed the directions! Please help!

It sounds as if you have oily skin but you have to be aware that you don't strip your skin of all of it's oil. You've made your skin too dry which has made it hurt when you've smiled. Exfoliators can also overstimulate oily skin causing your skin to overcompensate and produce yet more oil which is why you're spots have got worse. You need to be aware that you trying to keep a balance with your skin.





My advice is not to use an exfoliator or anything abrasive. Use a mild facial wash, preferably with tea tree oil or aloe vera in it to calm the skin and act as an antiseptic and then use a moisturiser afterwards but make sure it is a light one. I don't know what country you're from but I'm assuming you have the Simple brand? We have it in England anyway, but it's very good for sensitive skin and they have a light moisturiser which I use and is very good.

im not sure if that one works but i do know that the neutrogena wave works very well. i bought it for myself a few months ago and i love it. even after one use it makes your face smoother and really soft. i have small little bumps on my face that aren't noticeable but i can feel them. the wave got rid of all of those. my friend who had bad acne bought it and it worked very well for her. =)

have you talked with a dermatologist. maybe you are having a reaction to ingredients or the alcohol in the products. they dry the skin. that's what the doctor told me. she suggested using a white, non-scented mild soap and warm (not hot) water only once a day to kill the bacteria and to keep from irritating my skin and spreading the bacteria to make more pimples. if i were you i'd see the doctor.
Continuous Acne Control Cleanser by Clean and Clear Works awesome and alternate that with Noxema daily face wash.Also Clean %26amp; Clear makes this clear liquid stuff that you put on after you wash your fash and it helps alot.
I personally think it works great! I noticed a difference right away. I've heard great things about Neutrogena Wave. It doesn't sound much different. Give them both a go! Hope I helped! (:
