My 10 year old cat has what looks like blackhead pimples in her ears.is that normal? ?

I would agree, it sounds like ear mites. Is the cat twitching it's ears often? Take it to the vet and they will give you medication for it. Most out door cats and even some indoor cats will get these. It's nothing that will kill them just an irritation. My 10 year old cat has what looks like blackhead pimples in her ears.is that normal? ?
LOL....

Well, it COULD be ear mites...But typically ear mites= scratching, shaking of the head and downright unhappiness.

Earmites cause very thick/black earwax in the ears, and sometime it can appear dry and flaky as well.

I have seen something similar to what you speak of. But what I saw, was a cat who had black hairs in his ears, and the hairs were thick...making the actual hair follicle thick as well. Being that your cat is older, its pores could possibly be larger and more relaxed from age...making them appear black, and similar to blackheads.

OR they could just be black heads...nuff said.My 10 year old cat has what looks like blackhead pimples in her ears.is that normal? ?
Sounds like ear mites, which are pretty common, but should be taken care of soon. A vet can properly clean out her ears, and will have more advice.
Could be fleas or a skin condition made worse by scratching.
